Privacy Policy

BizStickies collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no server of ours that your notes pass through.

What the app stores

Your notes and everything attached to them — text, checklists, tags, colours, pinned state, and where each note sits on your screen — are stored on your device.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, the app also stores your notes in the private database of your iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit. That is what lets a note written on your Mac appear on your iPhone.

• The data lives in your own iCloud account, not in an account belonging to us.
• We cannot read it. A private CloudKit database is not accessible to the developer.
• Apple's handling of it is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

If you are not signed in to iCloud, or you turn iCloud off for BizStickies, the app keeps working and your notes stay on that device only.

What we do not do

• No analytics or usage tracking of any kind.
• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No third-party SDKs — the app uses Apple's frameworks and nothing else.
• No data is sold, shared, or transferred to anyone.
• No crash reporting service. If you opt in to sharing diagnostics with Apple in your device settings, Apple may pass us anonymised crash reports; that is Apple's mechanism and it contains no note content.

Links in your notes

Notes can contain web and email links. Tapping one hands it to your browser or mail app, which is then subject to that app's own privacy terms. The link is not sent to us.

Deleting your data

• Deleting a note moves it to Recently Deleted, and it is erased permanently after 30 days. You can erase it immediately from there.
• Deleting the app removes the notes stored on that device.
• To remove the iCloud copy, turn off iCloud Drive for BizStickies in your device settings, or delete the app's data from your iCloud storage settings.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects none from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this page will say so before that version ships.
